On the afternoon of May 1, PT Semen Imasco Asiatic organized a series of competitions to celebrate the 135th anniversary of International Workers' Day.
The activities mainly included a team tug-of-war competition and an individual “kangaroo jump” (sack race) challenge. More than 200 Chinese and Indonesian employees enthusiastically participated in the event. The atmosphere was well-organized, lively, and harmonious, with the competitions filled with energy, teamwork, and competitive spirit. 🎉💪
The tug-of-war competition featured eight representative teams and followed a best-of-three elimination format. After three intense rounds of competition, the Equipment Maintenance Department team claimed first place, while the Kiln Workshop team and the Production Dispatch Center Security Division team won second and third place, respectively.
In addition, ten officers from the Puger Police Station were invited to participate in the event and took part in a friendly tug-of-war match against a team formed by the company’s management and middle-level executives, further adding to the lively spirit of the celebration.
The “kangaroo jump” (sack race) competition went through two rounds of group elimination. In the end, Arif and Ego from the Security Division, along with Police Officer Aji, demonstrated impressive endurance and agility, earning first, second, and third place, respectively.
Following the competitions, the company’s management team presented awards on-site to the winning teams and individuals. Meanwhile, a ring toss game, open for free participation, brought additional fun to the event—colleagues who won prizes were filled with joy, while those who did not win still enjoyed the lively and entertaining atmosphere. 🎉
Through this Labor Day celebration, communication and interaction among employees from different departments and workshops were further strengthened. The event also promoted cultural exchange between Chinese and Indonesian employees, enhanced friendly relations with local police officers, and highlighted the spirit of teamwork and cooperation, creating a positive and uplifting workplace atmosphere.
