From June 2 to 3, Yang Jianming, Member of the CPC Leadership Group and Vice Chairman of the Jinhua Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), led a Jinhua CPPCC delegation to Jember Regency, Indonesia, to attend activities related to the establishment of friendly-city relations between Jinhua and Jember. During the visit, the delegation also conducted an inspection and research visit to PT Semen Imasco Asiatic.
The delegation visited the production workshops of PT Semen Imasco Asiatic to learn about the company’s production and operations on site. At the subsequent meeting, Wang Jianwei, Chairman of Hongshi Group’s Indonesia Region, gave a detailed introduction to the company’s production and operations, legal and compliance practices, sales market, and localization efforts in Indonesia.
Vice Chairman Yang Jianming fully recognized Hongshi Group’s achievements in taking root in Indonesia and actively expanding into the international market. He noted that PT Semen Imasco Asiatic, as a representative Jinhua enterprise that has “gone global” in response to China’s Belt and Road Initiative, has played a positive role in promoting local economic development and strengthening China-Indonesia economic and trade cooperation.
Vice Chairman Yang also encouraged Hongshi Group to maintain firm confidence in its development, fully leverage its strengths, further cultivate both local and international markets, achieve strong business performance, and continue enhancing its competitiveness and influence. He expressed hope that the company would play an even greater role as a bridge in promoting friendly exchanges and economic and trade cooperation between China and Indonesia.
