PT. Semen Imasco Asiatic (hereinafter referred to as Imasco) is located in Puger Wetan Village, Puger Subdistrict, Jember Regency, East Java, Indonesia. The project represents a total investment of approximately USD 300 million and features one clinker cement production line with a daily capacity of 8,000 tons, supported by a pure low-temperature waste heat power generation system.
The facility adopts internationally advanced new dry-process cement technology and was constructed to high standards of intelligent manufacturing and clean production. With an annual production capacity of 3 million tons of high-grade cement, the project commenced its main construction in November 2018 and officially began operations in May 2020. It is the first completed and operational project of Hongshi Group in Indonesia, marking an important step in the Group’s overseas expansion.
Imasco offers several flagship products, including bagged and bulk Composite Portland Cement (PCC), Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC), and commercial clinker.
For distribution to regions outside Java Island, the company also provides packaging in jumbo bags and sling bags, ensuring efficient and reliable transportation to wider markets.
Since the project was established, Imasco has placed strong emphasis on cultural integration with the local community and actively fulfills its corporate social responsibilities. The company has created more than 300 employment opportunities for local residents, while also stimulating the development of transportation, logistics, and service industries in the surrounding areas.
In addition, the company has supported nearby communities by constructing village roads and bridges to improve transportation access, donating daily necessities and medical supplies to earthquake and volcanic disaster areas, and contributing epidemic prevention supplies to support public health efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic.
