To warmly celebrate the 80th anniversary of Indonesian Independence Day in 2025, further implement the Group’s core philosophy of “Caring for Employees,” enrich employees’ cultural and recreational life, strengthen team cohesion, and create a joyful and festive atmosphere, PT Semen Imasco Asiatic organized a series of sports and cultural activities from August 14 to 16 in celebration of Indonesia’s National Day. 🇮🇩🎉
On-Site Activities
This event was open to all employees and featured a variety of engaging activities, including a badminton tournament, tug-of-war competition, the “Through Storms Together” team challenge, as well as free-participation games such as basket shooting and ring toss.
Among the activities, the team badminton tournament was held on August 14–15 at 6:30 PM each evening at the indoor sports hall, featuring men’s singles and men’s doubles matches. On the afternoon of August 16, the tug-of-war competition, “Through Storms Together” team challenge, and other recreational activities took place, with enthusiastic participation from employees across the company.
The tug-of-war competition was organized by department, with eight teams competing. The event tested each department’s team cohesion, unity, and fighting spirit. Meanwhile, the “Through Storms Together” challenge cleverly tested coordination and teamwork among participants. Each team consisted of five members standing on specially designed wooden clogs, working in synchronized steps to move toward the finish line. This activity not only challenged participants’ balance and coordination, but also vividly demonstrated the spirit of “standing united and moving forward together through challenges.”
After intense competition, the Kiln Workshop team secured first place with their excellent coordination and steady pace. The Equipment Maintenance Department team finished second, while the Cement Grinding Workshop team earned third place. 🏆

The series of Independence Day cultural and sports activities organized by PT Semen Imasco Asiatic was not only a special tribute to the celebration of the Indonesian Independence Day, but also a concrete reflection of the company’s commitment to its “Caring for Employees” philosophy.
