Tanggul–Jember Traditional Walk, commonly known as Tajemtra (an abbreviation of Tanggul–Jember), is a large-scale traditional annual event held in Jember Regency, East Java. The event route stretches from Tanggul Square to Jember Square, covering a total distance of 30 kilometers.
The local government invites community members, business representatives, and various organizations to take part in this walking event. This year, more than 15,000 participants joined the activity. PT Semen Imasco Asiatic actively responded to the invitation, with 65 employees participating in the event. 🚶♂️🎉

At 13:30 on August 23, the Regent of Jember Regency, Muhammad Fawait, delivered an opening speech and officially declared the event open.
In his remarks, he emphasized that the walking activity carries multiple positive meanings. The event attracts a large number of participants, bringing together people from diverse cultural backgrounds, which helps strengthen mutual understanding and friendship while promoting cultural exchange and integration. It also reflects the region’s openness and respect for multiculturalism.
In addition, the event contributes to local tourism development, promotes physical and mental well-being, and strengthens community cohesion. It also embodies the Indonesian spirit of community cooperation known as Gotong Royong, symbolizing collective effort, unity, and cooperation, and encouraging the harmonious development of the community. 🚶♂️🇮🇩

The company’s employees participated in uniform attire, full of energy and enthusiasm, becoming a striking presence among the walking participants. After an eight-hour long journey, 17 employees from PT Semen Imasco Asiatic successfully reached the finish line.
Through their participation, the company demonstrated the spirit of perseverance, self-challenge, and teamwork, while also promoting cultural exchange between Chinese and Indonesian employees.
