As the Dragon Boat Festival arrives once again, gentle drizzles accompany the fragrant aroma of zongzi. To celebrate this traditional festival and create a joyful and festive atmosphere, PT Semen Imasco Asiatic organized a zongzi-making activity on May 29, allowing employees to experience this traditional custom together.
One of the highlights of the event was the variety of zongzi prepared. In addition to pork-filled and sweet zongzi, the organizers also specially prepared “halal zongzi”, ensuring that friends from different cultural and religious backgrounds could also enjoy the festival and share in the spirit of reunion.
Through the fragrance of zongzi and the shared experience of traditional customs, participants not only celebrated the festival but also strengthened cultural exchange while embracing mutual respect and inclusiveness. 🥟🎋

At the event site, employees participated with great enthusiasm, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere. Many Indonesian colleagues were making zongzi by hand for the first time. Under the guidance of experienced colleagues, everyone carefully placed glutinous rice and fillings into freshly washed bamboo leaves, folded them skillfully, and finally tied them tightly with string to form plump and neatly wrapped zongzi.
“Although I had never made zongzi before, today’s experience allowed me to truly feel the cultural charm of the Dragon Boat Festival,” one Indonesian employee said happily. 🥟
This activity not only allowed participants to experience the charm of traditional Chinese culture firsthand, but also strengthened collegial friendships and team cohesion through multicultural exchange. As an enterprise rooted in China and operating globally, our teams around the world celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival together—sharing not only festive delicacies, but also heartfelt connections.
Through this event, amid the laughter and joy of making zongzi, everyone was able to appreciate the beauty of cultural exchange and the warmth of teamwork.
