Deepening Cooperation for Shared Development — Board Meeting of the Indonesian Cement Association Successfully Held at PT Semen Imasco Asiatic 🤝

Distinguished attendees included Regina from the Ministry of Industry of Indonesia, and Lilik Unggul Raharjo (hereinafter referred to as Lilik), President of the Indonesian Cement Association.

More than 30 representatives from association member companies participated in the meeting, including Indonesian cement enterprises such as Semen Indonesia, Semen Tiga Roda, Semen Merah Putih, Semen Jawa, and Semen Garuda, as well as Chinese-invested companies such as Anhui Conch Cement and Hongshi Holding Group.

The meeting focused on the theme Performance Monitoring and Evaluation of the Cement Industry’s Development,” where participants engaged in discussions and exchanges on industry performance and future development.

During the meeting, Wang Jianwei and Gong Wei extended a warm welcome and sincere appreciation to Director Regina, Chairman Lilik, and all association member representatives for their presence and support in successfully hosting the meeting.

Mr. Wang also briefly introduced the Group’s Cement + Polysilicon” dual-core business development strategy, and shared insights on the company’s efforts in production safety, compliance management, corporate social responsibility, environmental protection, energy efficiency improvement, and quality management.

Ms. Regina noted that achieving green manufacturing and ensuring energy security are currently among Indonesia’s national strategic priorities. She encouraged all member companies of the Indonesian Cement Association to actively respond to national policies by increasing investment in innovation, enhancing industrial competitiveness, and working together to address industry challenges.

She also stated that the Ministry of Industry of Indonesia will continue to optimize the business environment, providing greater support to enterprises that operate in compliance with regulations and are committed to long-term sustainable development. Furthermore, she emphasized that cement companies should accelerate the internal review and certification process for Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI), ensuring operations remain fully compliant with regulatory requirements.

Meanwhile, Lilik Unggul Raharjo presented an overview of the latest developments, market trends, and key initiatives within Indonesia’s cement industry. He highlighted that new national transportation regulations will soon be introduced, which may pose significant challenges for the cement sector. In this context, cooperation and industry self-discipline will become increasingly important.

He further emphasized that the association will continue to strengthen its role in coordinating communication between government authorities and industry enterprises, with the aim of promoting the healthy, orderly, and environmentally sustainable development of Indonesia’s cement industry.

During the meeting, participating representatives shared best practices from their respective companies and engaged in in-depth discussions on key issues of common concern, offering suggestions and insights in an open and constructive atmosphere.

After the meeting, participants toured the production facilities of PT Semen Imasco Asiatic. The plant’s dust-free” on-site management, significant achievements in energy conservation and consumption reduction, strong commitment to environmental protection, as well as its progress in clean production and intelligent manufacturing, received high praise from Lilik Unggul Raharjo.

He also encouraged enterprises to actively fulfill their social responsibilities and enhance their visibility within local communities, thereby supporting sustainable and long-term business development.
