From September 12 to 15, 2025, a delegation from the Ministry of Public Works of Timor-Leste and the Timor-Leste Development Agency of the Timor-Leste visited PT Semen Imasco Asiatic for a four-day inspection and evaluation.
The core objective of this visit was to assess the company’s production system, manufacturing processes, and product quality, in order to evaluate whether its cement products meet the requirements for admission into government construction projects in Timor-Leste. Following the evaluation, the delegation is expected to issue a product recommendation letter as the basis for project access.
Discussion and Exchange in the Meeting Room
During the exchange meeting, the head of the delegation from the Timor-Leste Development Agency expressed sincere appreciation for the warm reception and the transparent inspection arrangements provided by PT Semen Imasco Asiatic.
He noted that the scale, technical strength, and quality control capabilities of the Hongshi Holding Group left a strong impression on the delegation. The inspection results clearly indicated that the company’s products fully meet their quality requirements. The delegation will prepare a formal report to submit to the government of Timor-Leste, and a product recommendation letter is expected to be issued within two weeks.

Receiving recognition from the Ministry of Public Works of Timor-Leste and the Timor-Leste Development Agency marks a crucial step for PT Semen Imasco Asiatic in expanding into the Timor-Leste market and supporting the country’s infrastructure development.
Once the product recommendation letter is issued, Hongshi cement products will not only be able to enter the local retail and distribution market, but will also be eligible to participate in government construction projects in Timor-Leste. This will significantly enhance the company’s sales volume and brand recognition in the region.
